Get Ready to Smile

Leon has been a real hoot this month. He has been making me laugh and smile like crazy. Here is some evidence:

Here is Leon laying back on his boppy with his BELOVED sippy cup watching Oprah. What is even more funny is that before I took these photos he had one leg propped up on the other.

Leon woke up with this hair do one day. We left it like this all morning. It was great.

Leon in the laundry basket. He looked so cute as Kyle gave him a little ride.

Leon is starting to get up on his hands and knees. He loves to slide around on his belly on the hard wood floors in our living room. He also just cut his first tooth (that was NOT alot of fun). I love him. He is really getting a little personality!

Levi and Ashley

Tomorrow we head down to southern Indiana for my brother's wedding. I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I think it will be a great celebration for Ashley and Levi. I love my brother so much and I'm so glad that he found himself a cool lady to spend his life with! I took engagement photographs for them back in July and these are my favorites. As you can see they make an amazing couple!

Of course, most of my favs are the kissing ones...I need to work on making some others my favs.

Congratulations Levi and Ashley!
I love you guys!

News

Good News:
1) I've spent most of the morning putting on the second coat of paint on the trim in the hallway. Only one more coat and then we can start painting the doors and get them back on the hinges. With the trim painted, this house is finally starting to look the way I want it too!
2) I'm thinking about starting to do weddings again...not positive yet but definetly thinking about it!
3) It is going to be a short week. Today is labor day so Kyle has the day off and Friday we head down to Levi's (my brother's) for his wedding, so Kyle has Friday off too.

Exciting News:
1)Leon got up on his hands and knees today. It was only for a moment but isn't that so exciting? I say that now, but I know the moment he starts crawling and getting into everything I'm going to be cursing through my teeth.
2) We ordered our new furniture on Friday. We should get the couch on Wednesday and then the chair & 1/2 in a couple of weeks. They didn't have it in stock. All we need now is some an amoire for the TV, a new TV, and some new decor and then the living room will be totally done. It may take a little while for the amiore and new TV but its so nice to know their is light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe we'll actually start using our living room!
3) I get to buy new shoes this week for my brother's wedding. I'm a brides maid. I love shoe shopping!

Bad News:
1) I think the stupid lawn mower just broke down again. Bummer. Kyle had tried for weeks to fix it. Good thing we got it for free (thanks Candy and Kirk).
2) I'm still short about $1000 for my new camera. I'm getting really hungry for it. I'm going to sell some equitment I don't use anymore to help. Anyone want to book a portait session?
