Samantha, Elizabeth, and Rosie

I've been trying to establish a specific style and feeling that I want my portrait photography to have. Everyday I get closer and closer to what I want my photographs to be about. I want them to be classic but creative. I also want them to be intimate but still have lots of personality. These photographs of my three nieces, I think, capture most of the feelings I want my work to attain.

Sami, Elizabeth, and little Rosie did such a good job posing for me on that morning. We had talked about how the photos were supposed to look and feel. They had a little trouble putting on non cheesy, natural smiles at first for the really posed group shots but they got the hang of it after a while. I think the best shots are the ones of them just being themselves. These photographs show their sweet, beautiful personalities. I absolutely love the ones of them in the creek!
