The day started by getting up early. Kyle had a card, a 3 musketeers, and a big "Happy Birthday" waitng for me when I got up. Yeah, I didn't get to sleep in but it was actually kind of nice to get an early start to the day. We needed to take my money-sucking car (at least recently it has been) to the transmission place to get some repairs. Afterwards, we stopped by a gas station to fill Kyle's truck up. While I was waiting in the truck, I was watching the people in the store check out. This guy, probably about mine or Kyle's age, walked out and saw me. He must have thought I had been watching him because he flashed me a big grin and kept grinning and staring until he drove off. Although I know he couldn't tell I was big and pregnant because I was stitting in the truck, I have to admit it was terribly flattering to be noticed. It was a good start to the day.
Later my mom and I went to Indianapolis to of my favorite places: the Johann Fabric's Superstore and Archivers (an awesome scrapbooking store). She took me out to eat to Max and Ermas which I had never been before. It was sooo yummy. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and we shared some of their yummy, hot, freshly baked cookies. Mom also got me another willow tree figurine of a lady holding her new baby close. It is so sweet. I had a great time with my mom. We hadn't been able to spend a day like that in a long time, so it was so nice. Thanks Mom!
Kyle's mom brought me a couple gifts and a cake. She told me I couldn't have a birthday without a cake. She is so sweet and thoughtful like that. I'm glad she did because I wanted to blow out candles and make a birthday wish. We couldn't find any birthday candles so we just used a little candle I keep on the table. It worked. Kyle took me out to Arnies for dinner. It was also yummy, however I was still so full from my lunch with mom that I barely ate anything. Kyle rented the movie "The Duchess"because I had been wanting to see it. For some reason, I love those movie about European women in history. It was a good movie; a little depressing but all together a very good story and well made. It was so nice just to relax that evening and watch a movie while Kyle gave me a foot massage.
I was so tired at the end of the day but I was also so content. It was a very simple birthday but it was just what I wanted and needed this year. It was perfect. Thank you to all of your birthday wished and to all who made the day special for me!

Sounds like you had a great day! Happy Birthday Kelly!
Happy Birthday (a day late)!! It sounds like you had a great day. I laughed when I read what you ate at Max & Erma's... because that's been what I have ordered every time I've gone there this pregnancy. I looooove buffalo chicken sandwiches, especially from there. :) Hope you're feeling well and are doing a better job being patient than I am- haha!!
