Well, Friday we closed on the house and then started painting that night. I hate to say it but it has been a very bitter sweet experience for me. I'm so glad to finally have a house. I hate that I can't spend every moment fixing it up. It needs so much works and my hands are full. It killed me on Friday to have my family and friends paint the house while I was at home taking care of Leon. However, I am so so so so grateful for their help. The paint job look so good especially compared to what it was like. It's just that I've been dreaming of doing this and then I have do have someone else do it all for me. I know that it'll get down, it is just going to take so much more time. I'm going to have to be patient...something I'm extremely bad at. I keep asking myself what did I get myself into?

There is so much left to do before me move on Saturday. I need to get everything packed in our apartment still. We need to clean the house really really well before we move. Kyle needs to get a mailbox set up. We also have a few church obligations we need to take care of this week! I'm feeling very overwhelmed!

Leo hasn't been sleeping as well. He used to only get up once and now he is getting up 3 to 4 times! I thought it was supposed to get better as time went by! It also hasn't helped that I haven't been able to sleep very well lately. My mind has been ticking every second with everything that I need to do. Things have been crazy so maybe that is just his way of reacting to it.

So...with all this craziness, my blog may be very neglected the next few week! just warning you!

Kelly u sound so much like me. I am so impatient. I want what I want when I want it. The house clean and pretty and the 3 kids looking like they just jumped out of a gap catalog...then I remember the eternal perspective. I Pray to Heavenly Father, read my scriptures, and I'm amazed at how I become more patient, and I seem to have enough time to balance everything, and have peace. Before u know it your house will look like it came out of Better Homes and Garden Magazine and Leo will be feeding himself. Love ya! Next week I'm not so busy. Maybe Macie and I can help out with stuff.

i SO know what you're going through! Though Corban was a little bigger when we moved- it was still difficult with a baby. Does Leo like to be held a lot? Do you have a sling or a wrap? I just got a new wrap (see my blog!:) ) and I can do SO much more... Cate is so secure wrapped up like that, and I have both hands to do whatever. Just a thought! Also- like I said before.. it takes time to make a house a home. We've been here for 16 months, and I still haven't finished paiting trim, still have rooms that seem so unfinished to me. The first thing I did was make our living room livable, since that's where we spent so much time, and the ktichen followed closely. Look at things one room at a time, and it seems much less overwhelming! Like you said, it takes patience.. which is so hard! Enjoy every moment with Leo- they pass far too quickly. I wish we lived closer so we could take a coffee break from all the house work/baby caring!

I am coming up Saturday for a date night with Kent at his Krannert Weekend, so maybe I'll just come up a little early and help out - as long as I can take a shower at your house (or apt!) :) Tyler has a soccer game at 10 and then we have to clean the church, but we can come up sometime in the afternoon. I'll figure out where everyone is! :) I would probably work best cleaning your apt if it still needs it!
