Leon had his 6 month check up on Tuesday. When they weighed him, he only weighed 14lbs 8 oz. I thought he would have weighed more than that (he seems so much bigger and chunckier). We asked about percentiles. When the nurse told us that he was only in the 5-10 percentile, our jaws hit the floor. He just doesn't seem that small to us. He has grown so much within the last month! I asked the doctor if we should worry about it. She said no because he seems happy and healthy, however she wanted us to start feeding him solids three times a day instead of just twice. Can you believe that? Our little man is actually a little pip squeek!These photos were taken with my little point and shoot camera at the columbian park here in town. Leon was being a little stinker (evident in the above photograph where he is reaching for the camera). My niece, Briley, thinks he looks like he is trying to take a self portrait but he is just being a little rascal.

Man oh man, is he cute or what!?!! Loved the pics of him. I have one (the top view of sitting in the grass) almost identical of Cate. I know all about pipsqueaks!! Cate, at 7 months, is 12lbs 9 oz! Whoa!
Leon looks super healthy, not small at all!
Welcome to the Allen family! I think he is just the right size - not too chunky but not a skinny rail either! Love the first picture of him!
