Winter

Winter showed up last week in quite a stylish fashion covering the earth in the most beautiful snow fall ever.  As much as I love being outside with my little guy in the warm weather, I am really enjoying the winter this year.

I've been working on my Italia photographs in preperation to sell them.  I've been spicing them up by adding textures and doing some further editing.  I need some opinions.  Too much, very cool?  What do you think?

I found this small, family-friendly pumpkin patch in Brookston, Indiana called Kent's Cucubrits.  It's great!  You should go and support them.  October just wouldn't be the same without a fun pumpkin patch like this one.

Seeing how birds have such sweet freedom as they fly is such a wonder for me. 

It reminds me of how amazing God is to have created such a
beautiful and amazing things as birds soaring through the sky.

Sometimes I wish I could be a bird for a day.

Sunset

I'm was especially grateful for this beautiful sunset yesterday evening after a very long day.  It reminded me that every day comes to an end and there is always a new one waiting for us tomorrow.

Toy Camera Vignettes

I found these cool toy camera vignettes online. I love vignettes - they bring back that old camera feel from when cameras and photography were just making it's way into the world. I played around with some images just for fun. What do you think?

I can still smell how lovely the fragrant was from these beautiful pink blossoms. I am still in love with how the evening sun shone through them in the most transcendent way. They're so pretty in pink - it reminds me of the simpler, more idyllic moments that we all have in our lives from time to time.
